Facing charges : Waylon Allen Cox-Ingram, Vincent Tanelli Ingram, Quincy Leon Penn, Jenise Gre’Net Draper, Anthony Joseph Albanese, and Patricia Beth Cox-Ingram, Oct. 3, 2023. A massive drug bust in southern Virginia led to six arrests in three jurisdictions, and authorities say there will be more to come.
SWAT teams from the city of Martinsville, and Henry and Patrick counties executed several search warrants which turned up guns, money, and a large amount of drugs. In a Tuesday news conference, Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis said getting that off the streets will make the community safer. The people that we've arrested today are responsible for the death and destruction of our community members," he said. "These poison peddlers have sold drugs that have destroyed our family and friends and they have profited from those who suffer from addiction, and that stops today."Martinsville Police Chief Robert Fincher said law enforcement won't rest until the community is safe and this operation is only the beginning.
Our citizens deserve better than to have these horrible drugs brought into our community," Fincher said. "Our citizens demand that we take action. Well, this is your law enforcement taking action. We have made a significant impact, but we are not done. We want to send a message to other drug dealers that are out there, we're not stopping.
