BREAKING 7-year-old boy struck, killed by car while walking in Santa Ana
The Santa Ana Police Department received multiple calls of a pedestrian down in traffic lanes in the area of Rosita and 7th streets just before 9 p.m. Sunday. Responding officers found the boy within the roadway.
Investigators said the child was crossing Rosita Street when he was struck by the vehicle traveling southbound. The driver remained at the scene and alcohol is not believed to have played a role in the collision.This comes days after an
