QUAKE STRIKES CALI: 6.4 magnitude earthquake leaves tens of thousands in the dark
knocked out power for more than 72,000 customers early Tuesday morning. The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 6.4 quake struck about 7.5 miles southwest of Ferndale at 2:34 a.m. PT. According to the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services, there have been more than two dozen smaller aftershocks.
