Unknown suspects entered Chelveston Renewable Energy Park
Officers investigating the theft of solar panels worth around £5,500 from an energy farm near Wellingborough are appealing for witnesses and information. Between 10.30pm on Tuesday, June 20, and 3am on Wednesday, June 21, unknown suspects entered Chelveston Renewable Energy Park, at Chelveston Airfield, and stole 52 solar panels from the site.
Anyone with information about the incident, including anyone with relevant CCTV, smart doorbell or dash-cam footage, is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 23000381835. Following the theft, the Force is reminding people to report any suspicious activity by calling 101 or online at www.northants.police.uk/RO or calling 999 in an emergency when a crime is in progress.
