Kengo Kuma’s spiral tower is an original and beautifully executed work of design, a rarity floating in a sea of conventional buildings. If only the Harwood District of which it is a part was a more walkable space with a genuine identity.Generic glass towers and endless banal apartment blocks spread like kudzu across this too-conventional city. A little ambition, please!is a moving and pristine space that honors victims of the Armenian genocide and gives that community a home.
