The misery continues to pile up for Rangers after suffering a 2-1 Europa League defeat to Aris Limassol.
Caretaker Steven Davis kicked off his Rangers interim spell in charge with a major flop as he watched his side crashed to a shock 2-1 defeat against Cypriot minnows Aris Limassol.
Cyriel Dessers thought he had levelled the game he broke through the resolute backline to slide the ball under Vana - but the flag quickly went up for offside. The Dutchman was made to wait but after a lengthy VAR check the striker was denied the equaliser. Sima would have the ball in the net next with a low finish from the right - but is was also ruled out. He wide man burst through but bundled over Eric Boakye in the build-up. That saw the goal chalked off and the Rangers man go into the book.
For the second, the shaky defence was exposed once again as John Lundstram failed to do his defensive duties allowing Bengtsson to drill the ball across the box. Babicka simply wanted the ball more as he beat Goldson the ball for the tap-in. The back four appeared to lack confidence and were regularly exposed in wide areas throughout a tough evening inside the humid Alphamega Stadium and the minnows took advantage.
