While summer is always a time for experimenting and playing around with different colours, this year it’s never felt more right. “When I was watching Glastonbury on TV and they panned through the crowds, I thought ‘wow, people really went all out’,” shares Eldridge. “Plus, all my followers having been sending me pictures of vibrant make-up on eyes and lips, and crystals on the face – it’s a party summer of enjoyment before whatever comes next.
Whether you’re colour shy or like to experiment, below Eldridge shares her top tips on how to make colour work for you now.“When it comes to colour, there aren’t any particular rules – I don’t subscribe to that theory. Colour is what makes you feel really good, and if you’re drawn to a particular colour, whether it be orange, a bright red or pink, and you’re not convinced how to wear it, try it on one area of the face to start with – that could be a lip, cheek or an eye.
