49ers could get some valuable pieces back for Chiefs game including Trent Williams, Nick Bosa
Among those who could be on the field to face Kansas City included left tackle Trent Williams , who has missed the last three games, and edge rusher Nick Bosa .
“A lot better than last week,” Shanahan said regarding the chance two of the NFL’s best players at their positions could play this week. “I’m really hoping for it. Shanahan wasn’t as optimistic regarding defensive tackle Arik Armstead and safety Jimmie Ward . He believes both players to be a week away and possibly more.
