The Sheriff's Office says that it happened just after Midnight early Monday morning when deputies responded to the suspect brandishing a rifle. The suspect led officers on a pursuit, and then stopped and began shooting at officers. The suspect then continued the pursuit and officers fired back.The Sheriff's Office says one of the deputies is in critical but stable condition with a head injury. Another deputy has a gunshot wound to the leg, and two others have hand injuries.Police say Stony Point Road, between Bellevue Avenue and Todd Road will be closed indefinitely.Stay with ABC7 News for updates on this developing story.
