House hunters looking for a modernised home in a village may find what they are looking for in Burton Joyce, according to a property expert. Tracy Kernaghan, manager at estate agency Move and Save, says a property for sale in Glen Road in the Nottinghamshire village offers "excellent value for money". The good-sized semi is priced at £300,000.
Burton Joyce is around seven miles from Nottingham's city centre and is accessible by car, bus or train. The estate agent said: "Burton Joyce is a highly sought-after village and property doesn't come up very often and when it does it isn't on the market for long."The three-bed has modernised accommodation that includes an entrance hall, lounge, study, kitchen with dining area, and a utility/lean-to conservatory.
