Growing up in Pearland, international modeling might seem a far-off dream. Not for 22-year-old Jordan Broussard, who walked the Fendi runway show in Milan.
Houston native Jordan Broussard walks the runway in Fendi's Men's Fall/Winter 2022/2023 fashion collection in Milan.Growing up in Pearland, international modeling might seem a far-off dream.“I knew I was going to be a model, and some people laughed,” Broussard says. “Modeling has always been a dream — something I knew was just for me.”
Broussard was tapped for the Italian fashion house’s menswear collection for fall 2022, which was shown in January.“The show came on at 7 a.m. here, and I had all of my family and friends watching. It’s so amazing to see him live his dream,” she says. In high school, Broussard designed clothes and modeled in local fashion events. Then last fall, he was contacted by an international modeling agency to model for New York Fashion Week’s spring collections. He appeared in five shows.Broussard recently walked the runway again at New York Fashion Week for the fall shows. Now he is eyeing opportunities to model in Paris and Korea.
“I’ve always loved seeing different styles of clothes, the way different garments go together and just bounce off the skin to make the perfect combination,” he says. “Fashion is nothing but art, and who doesn’t love art?”
