With new two-tone color combinations, a new cold weather package, and an integrated streaming feature that can connect your Apple Music to your car, the Toyota has made only minor changes to the 2024 RAV4
Woodland Edition introduces a new optional Weather Package that adds heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and rain-sensing intermittent windshield wipers with a de-icer function.
Also new are the two-tone color combinations that mix Army Green or Ice Cap with a Midnight Black Metallic roof. Buyers can also opt for the Midnight Black paint color and go for the ultra-subtle, single tone option. No matter which one you choose, the Woodland Edition gets 18-inch, six-spoke bronze TRD alloy wheels wrapped in Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. It also getsthat’s engineered to enhance body control and small bump isolation for the trail .
The Woodland, in addition to the rest of the RAV4 hybrid lineup, continue to be powered by Toyota’s 2.5-liter four-cylinder Dynamic Force Engine paired to the Toyota Hybrid System II. This offers drivers 219 hp and an EPA estimated 37 MPG combined. Internal combustion-only variants are also powered by the 2.5-liter engine, which gets 30 MPG combined.
Inside, a familiar tech setup offers drivers a seven, a 10.5, or a 12.3-inch touchscreen that can be updated over the air. It comes with a voice assistant, cloud navigation, and new for 2024, an Integrated Streaming feature that allows owners to connect their personal Apple Music or Amazon Music subsrciptions to the vehicle to access their favorite tunes on the go.
The compact SUV will also include a familiar suite of safety technology and advanced driver assistance tech, including a rear-seat reminder that alerts drivers to a passenger in the rear seat when they exit their vehicle. The 2024 Toyota RAV4 is expected to arrive in dealerships later this year
