2024 Buick Encore GX Caught Undisguised Showing New Wildcat Face And Logo | Carscoops carscoops
recently, the facelifted crossover adopts slimmer LED headlights with additional lighting units mounted on the bumper intakes. The sharp nose has a grille-less look, proudly exhibiting Buick’s new three-shield logo. In fact, the grille has been replaced by a large chrome-finished cooling intake mounted lower in the front bumper.
The profile remains unchanged, besides new options for wheel designs and exterior colors. Changes at the back are limited to the new emblem and thespread on the tailgate. We don’t have photos of the interior but chances are that it will gain an updated digital cockpit with a larger infotainment touchscreen and new software, alongside fresh options for the trim.
The 2024 Buick Encore GX is expected to carry over the current model’s powertrain lineup comprising turbocharged 1.2-liter and 1.3-liter three-cylinder engines producing 137 hp and 155 hp respectively. Both are mated to a CVT gearbox sending power to the front axle, while there is an AWD option with a nine-speed automatic for the more powerful 1.3-liter unit.
The facelifted Buick Encore GX will likely be the first production model in the US market to bear Buick’s new logo before it gradually finds its way to the entire model range.
