You've heard all about the top QBs in the 2023 class, but there is plenty of talent to be had in the middle and later rounds. _RyanFowler_ breaks down a handful of passers you need to know about. NFLDraft
A transfer from the University of Incarnate Word, Ward has arguably the best arm in the entire 2023 NFL Draft class. Ward is a ball of clay that, if all comes to fruition, could be one of the headliners from this class.
One season after throwing 47 touchdowns for UIW last year, throwing 23 touchdowns compared to eight picks left a lot to be desired in his first year in the Pac-12. I wouldn’t be shocked if he returns to school as the 6-foot-2, 220-pound talent would benefit from another year of reading defenses at the collegiate level. On the flip side, however, he’s got talent offensive coordinators drool over and could find himself groomed for a year or so at the NFL level before getting an opportunity.
2022 was his best year in the pocket, tossing for 25 touchdowns compared to seven interceptions. When you add 11 scores via his legs, you get a prospect that can threaten a defense at every single snap. His game is what’sTyson Bagent, Shepherd whose game remains relatively unknown despite breaking the record for the most passing touchdowns by a collegiate quarterback, Bagent can play.
As someone that could hear his name called during the middle rounds, Bagent’s week in Mobile will hold a ton of weight toward his path to snaps on Sundays.
