This sketch confirms that this will indeed be the case as the Ioniq 6’s profile looks virtually identical to the concept.Key elements of the EV’s design that we can see from this teaser include the curvaceous silhouette of the car and its large wheels. We can also see that it sports a large ducktail-style rear lip spoiler, similar to the spoiler of the Prophecy Concept. The rear overhang of the production car also appears largely identical to the concept.
Other key exterior design details of the Ioniq 6 will be similar pixel-style headlights and taillights to the Ioniq 5 and the new Staria.in Korea, providing us with a glimpse of what to expect from the cabin. That prototype was equipped with digital cameras in place of traditional wing mirrors and also sported a floating center console that could slide backward and forwards like found in the Ioniq 5.
