The York County Coroner's Office said the teen lost control of his vehicle while on a curve in Adams County on July 15.
A 17-year-old boy died last week, nearly 10 days after crashing in Adams County, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
Andrew Karabinos Jr., of Reading Township, was identified as the driver in a crash that occurred around 8:30 p.m. July 6, in the 500 block of Hunterstown Hampton Road in Straban Township, the coroner’s office said. Karabinos was wearing a seatbelt when he lost control of his vehicle on an S-curve in the road, causing his vehicle to leave the road and hit an embankment, police said. The hit against the embankment caused the car to roll over.
Karabinos was flown to York Hospital after the crash, where he died on Friday evening, according to the coroner’s office. He died from blunt force trauma to the head, and his death was ruled accidental, the coroner’s office said. There was no autopsy but toxicology tests were ordered.
