The 16-year-old boy who died was identified on Saturday.
– A 16-year-old boy died after a shooting at a high school prom after party early Saturday in northwest Harris County.
The party was happening at a house in the 8500 block of Majesticbrook Drive, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies arrived around 1:37 a.m. at the location.Zetino and another juvenile male got into an argument with the father of a girl at the party. The sheriff’s office said those involved took out guns and fired at each other. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.He cooperated with the sheriff’s office. Law enforcement said he told them he acted in self-defense during the shooting.There were about 100 people at the party, and about 15 teenagers spoke to investigators.
No one is being charged at the moment. The sheriff’s office is still looking into the case.
