A student was arrested after they were accused of threatening to bring a gun to Paradise Honors Middle School and kill people.
Police announced that an 11-year-old student was arrested on Monday after they were accused of threatening to bring a gun to school and kill people at Paradise Honors Middle School.
Authorities said that the Surprise police worked with the school's staff to get the suspect into custody before the school day started on Monday. Surprise Police Chief Benny Piña commended the actions of the student who helped to relay information regarding the threat to the school.
