A person was shot and injured in north Columbus late Friday night.
Columbus police were called to the area of East 24th Avenue and Medina Avenue on a report of a shooting.
A woman was found shot and was taken to Grant Medical Center. Officers said she was stable and is expected to survive. A man on the scene was in the driver's seat of his car which was also hit by gunfire. He was uninjured following the incident. No suspect has been identified yet, however officers found shell casings in the road of the 1200 block of East 24th Avenue.Anyone with information is asked to call Columbus police at 614 645-4141 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614 461-8477
