One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting outside a strip club in D.C., police said.
Police found another man also suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital and was in critical but stable condition late Thursday, Bedlion said.
James Brooks, an Assets employee, said he didn’t see the shooting, but when he arrived at work, officers told him that he couldn’t enter. He said that Assets had to close for the remainder of the evening. “You see all this stuff in the news and I’ve never been a part of anything like this,” Brooks, 32, said. “We have our times of drunk people that we have to take out, but nothing crazy like this.”
Brooks said he hadn’t been able to talk to other co-workers who were inside Assets at the time of the shooting. Police said they don’t know what sparked the shooting, but that a silver car was involved. They also said they think there was more than one shooter.
