The accident happened at 6:12 p.m. after a Saturn, which was occupied by a 25-year-old man, an 18-year-old man and a third man, clipped the car in front of it and lost control, according to a news release.
The Saturn continued and drove through a barrier and rolled down into a canal, ejecting two people in the vehicle and trapping one inside. The Akron Fire Department rescued the man trapped inside the car while pulling the other two men from the canal.The 25-year-old died from his injuries and the other two remain in critical condition.The incident is still under investigation.Copyright 2022 WOIO.
